Privacy Policy
How viralmeme collects, uses, stores and shares your information.
Last updated: 2026-11-05
This policy explains what viralmeme ("we", "us") at viralmeme.app does with your information.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, name and sign-in details, including a sign-in provider when one is enabled.
- Photos you upload to make a video, and the videos we generate for you.
- Purchase records: what you bought, amounts and order status. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used for security, abuse prevention and improving the site.
How your photos and videos are used
- Your photo is used only to create the video you asked for.
- To create the video, your photo and the template video are sent to our AI video provider, NanoAPI, using Genjutsu 1.0 (
genjutsu-1.0). NanoAPI describes this model as based on Seedance 2.5 and tuned for motion transfer. We access it through NanoAPI. We share a temporary link that stops working once your video is finished. - NanoAPI returns the finished video to us, and we copy it to our own private storage. The provider may retain processing copies under its own policies. Deleting a creation from viralmeme does not necessarily delete copies held by the provider.
- We do not use your photos or videos to train our own AI models, and we do not list your creations in the public template library.
Where we store data and for how long
- Photos and videos are kept in private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and are only accessible to your account.
- Account, support and purchase records are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase.
- We keep your photos and videos until you delete them in My creations or request their removal through Support. Deleting a creation removes its photo and video from our storage.
- Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Who we share data with
- NanoAPI — to generate videos (see above).
- Waffo — to process payments.
- Cloudflare — hosting and storage.
- Supabase — database hosting.
- Email and analytics providers we use to run the service, when enabled.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Delete any video (and its photo) in My creations.
- Request account deletion or a copy of your data through Support in your account settings.
Cookies
Essential cookies support sign-in and site preferences. When enabled, analytics features may also use identifiers to understand how the service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.
Children
viralmeme is not intended for children under 13. Do not upload photos of minors unless you are their parent or legal guardian.
