Acceptable Use

These rules apply to uploads, generated videos, support messages and other use of viralmeme. They form part of our Terms of Service.

Use photos with permission

Only upload photos you have the right to use: photos of yourself, of a person who has given you permission, or of your own pet. Do not upload photos of minors unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy and likeness rights. A photo being publicly available does not mean you have permission to use it. Check any additional rights needed before sharing a video or using it commercially.

Do not create harmful content

Do not use viralmeme to create, upload or distribute:

• Sexual or explicit material, sexual exploitation, or any sexualized depiction of a minor.
• Content that harasses, humiliates, threatens or exploits another person, including intimate imagery created without consent.
• Hate, targeted discrimination, graphic violence, or encouragement of violence or self harm.
• Fraud, scams, fabricated endorsements or material intended to mislead people about someone's actions, identity or statements.
• Someone else's private or sensitive information without permission.
• Content that violates the law or another person's rights.

Meme formats and parody do not remove the need for consent or make harassment acceptable.

Do not present AI output as real evidence

Do not pass generated videos off as authentic footage of an event or person. Add clear context when sharing if viewers could reasonably mistake the result for real footage. Follow the rules of the platform where you post.

Keep the service usable

Do not attempt to access another person's account, uploads, videos or private links. Do not probe for credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, upload malicious files, bypass safeguards or interfere with the service.

Do not abuse free credits, create accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate payment or generation states, or use automation to overwhelm the site.

Reports and enforcement

We may refuse a request, remove content or restrict an account when these rules are broken. Requests can also be declined by the AI provider's safety systems. Purchase handling remains subject to the Refund Policy and applicable law.
