Find a trend that fits you

Not every meme suits every photo or audience. A simple way to pick a trend you will actually want to post.

Trends move fast, but the ones that work for you share a few traits. Use these questions before you make your version.

Does it match your photo?

Dance and walk templates need a clear upper-body or full-body photo. Reaction-style templates work with simpler portraits. Pet templates need a sharp photo of one animal. Start from the photos you already have.

Does it fit where you will post?

  • Group chats and replies: short reaction clips (5–8 seconds) loop well and land instantly.
  • TikTok, Reels and Shorts: dance and "main character" formats with a clear beat moment do better.

Is it still fresh?

On Trends we note where and when we saw each trend. Newer is usually better, but some formats — pets with jobs, reaction clips — stay useful for a long time.

Is it okay to make?

Make videos of yourself, consenting friends or your own pets. Skip trends that mock real people or copy someone else's identity.
